Executive Director's Message
We are thrilled to re-establish the Louisiana Affiliate chapter of the National Associate for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our vision is a big one: we seek to support young children to thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential. To achieve this end, our goal is to unify and elevate the work of early years professionals in our state through collaborations within existing networks.
The initial aim of the organization in the coming months is to reach out to individuals from the vast field of early care and education throughout the state of Louisiana, including early care and education teachers and administrators, early childhood advocates, higher education faculty, students (high school –college level), as well as companies vested in the early care and education field. We will be reaching out to assess the needs in our state and mobilizing to address these needs.
We invite you to join us in making Louisiana the best place to be a child and to work in the field of early care and education.
